Museum Education at PAFA

Have you ever wondered how artists are able to capture the world around them? Delve into the time-honored tradition of landscape art! Build the skills and confidence to make art at home, on the go, or wherever inspiration strikes. In this six-week class we will  paint and draw landscapes based on our observation, memory, and imagination. Students will explore a range of techniques and materials, while learning about  impressionistic, pop art, and contemporary art styles. Live instruction on Zoom will include demos, discussion, and feedback from the teacher and students for an engaging learning experience

Materials:

Each student will receive a complementary set of acrylic paint and brushes by mail from PAFA(~$20 value).

Families must provide students with: 

Mixed media paper or sketchbook

Pencils and eraser 

Inking pen or marker

Coloring materials of choice (markers, colored pencils, etc) 

Watercolors
