Print-Making 101 - Ages 8-10

Stamp, carve, and print as you explore the many ways to transfer images, from traditional block printing to experimental one-of-a-kind methods you can replicate at home. 

2026 Week 7 Summer Camp Aftercare

Ages: 5 - 14

After Camp Care is provided for Summer Camp attendees who require care once the camp day is concluded until a parent or designated person can pick them up. After Care is from 3 PM until 5:30 PM. Campers can be picked up at anytime after 3 and must be picked up before 5:30 PM. Supervision, actiities and snacks will be provided. Aftercare is a safe, enriching, cool down period when many friendships and communal skills are fostered.

Calendar Next available session starts Oct 20, 2026 at 4 pm, runs for 7 weeks

Intro to Drawing prepares students for future academic work through structured and sustained practice with drawing materials. Observational practices while reflecting on the relationships between shape, proportion, line quality, light, perspective, and value. Students will strengthen their abilities to observe, interpret, and reflect visual media within the academic studio sphere through close investigations of various still-life and portrait subjects. Single-session charcoal and pencil sketches, multi-session still life projects, and weekly critiques will train students in formal drawing techniques while being able to engage confidently in art-centric dialogs. Through active participation and inquiry, students will enhance their ability to comprehend subject matter, translate observations in dry mediums, and communicate their visual ideas.
